No More Clumpy Brows

I had really thick unruly eyebrows growing up so it’s no surprise that brow gel is one of my favourite products. It’s a must have in both my personal and professional kits. I use it to keep stray hairs in place and also to lighten dark brows. The only danger is getting too much product on resulting in thicker or clumpy looking brows. This usually happens when you apply the stuff directly from the wand that comes in the tube. The key is to use a clean spooly brush. This gives you more control on the amount of product deposited on your brows. You may also use a baby toothbrush to do this.

Fill in your brows with a brow pencil.
Right now I'm loving the MAC Pro Longwear Brow Set in Emphatically Blonde. It's waterproof. I personally like my brows a bit lighter than my hair color (which is now a light ash). It brightens up the face.

Transfer some product from the wand onto a clean spooly. Do not insert the clean brush directly into the tube. This will defeat the purpose.

Apply the brow gel brushing the hairs upwards.

Follow the shape of your brow. Do not forget to brush all the way down to the tail of the brow.

This trick gives you a more even application. If you feel you need more product, just reapply more brow gel using your spooly.
