Here’s a basic eye look that you can do in under 5 minutes for days you just don’t have the time to sit in front of your makeup mirror.
My go-to product when I’m in a hurry but still need to look like I’ve taken time to do my face is loose pigments. This stuff really packs a punch so a little goes a long way.
For this look, I’m using a very neutral colored pigment that accentuates the natural color of the eyelid. It will brighten up the eye area and give it a bit of shine and sparkle. These pigments are perfect to use during the day.
Let’s begin. Using a large eyeshadow blending brush, sweep a neutral brown color on the crease of your eye. Blend it well using the famous windshield wiper motion. Make sure to use an eyeshadow with a matte or satin finish to add more definition to the eye. The pigments will already add a lot of shine later on.
Now to apply your pigments. Use an eyeshadow brush with stiff bristles or your ring finger to do this. Also, make sure to tap the brush to get rid of the extra product before applying. Loose pigments can be very messy so you don’t want to get it all over the place. It’s hard to clean up and once the product settles onto your cheeks, you’ll need to remove your foundation/concealer and reapply.
Line your lower waterline with a neutral colored pencil. This step is optional but I love filling in the waterline because I feel it gives more definition to the eye.
Take a small brush and seep the same eyeshadow you used for your contour under the eye.
Line your eye with your favorite eyeliner.
The last step is to curl your lashes & apply mascara!
